June is officially Migraine and Headache Awareness month, and for a disease that affects 35 million Americans, it’s important to realize that migraine is more than a headache. Many people with migraine have an overly sensitive nervous system causing a variety of symptoms that range from light sensitivity, nausea, dizziness, brain fog, aura, and vomiting to name a few. It can also impact mood, gastrointestinal function, and even sleep.
As stated above, migraine does not discriminate, and when you’re bombarded with several different symptoms, it’s overwhelming to figure out how you can try and treat each individual one. Luckily, Forces of Nature has various products that have helped Kayla McCain of TrueKaylaisms manage her vestibular migraine attacks.
Getting Help Going To Sleep
When I am having a dizzy spell, it’s hard to get to sleep. My body already feels like it’s rotating in a circle when I lay down that sleep seems impossible. However, recently I started using Forces of Nature’s “Sleep Well.” Before bed I have been rolling it below my nose, and I have instantly felt relaxed. The soft aroma of lavender puts my mind at ease and has put me to sleep. It’s also nice to know that I have a bedside ally in case I wake up in the middle of the night. A few times I have woken up and couldn’t go back to sleep, but after applying Sleep Well during my early morning wakings, I find myself going back to sleep quickly.
Finding Relief And Managing Pain
With vestibular migraine, I don’t have a lot of headaches, but if a thunderstorm is brewing, you can bet that my head will be pounding. I used Forces of Nature’s Migraine Pain Management recently during an attack and didn’t think much of it. After sitting for 30 minutes and standing up to walk down the hallway, I realized that the throbbing substantially went away. By applying the product on my temples, it truly removed the pulsating sensation I experience during an attack.
Staying Calm
For me, anxiety goes hand-in-hand with vestibular migraine. When you’re uncontrollably dizzy, it’s hard to stay relaxed. If I feel a dizzy attack coming, the anxiety will be right behind. Luckily, “Calm Mood” has helped if I can get to it before I’m in a complete dizzy spell. By placing a few drops under my tongue, the product has helped to improve my overall mood without putting me to sleep like the medications I have from my neurologist. If you can manage your stress and anxiety, you’re already working to reduce future migraine attacks.
My symptoms are all over the board, and it’s nice to find natural alternatives to help fight off the pain points of migraine.
