More than 16 million Americans suffer from rosacea, which is characterized by red, acne-like marks known as papules and pustules. While there are treatments for rosacea, the cure remains elusive, which means many patients get stuck in a roundabout cycle of doctor’s visits and prescriptions which treat symptoms, rather than addressing the root cause of rosacea.

Topical steroid-based therapies are the most common prescription for rosacea, but these only show some degree of success. Moreover, consistent and long-term use of topical steroids has been associated with side effects such as skin atrophy, exacerbation of acne and even more rosacea – just one reason more patients are turning more and more to alternative treatments.

Alternative treatments for rosacea take advantage of age-old natural ingredients or botanicals to ease inflammation, providing a viable treatment option. Natural ingredients have been used as medicine for millennia and are more popular than ever:  In fact, over the last 20 years, clinical and laboratory studies have identified the benefits of an array of natural ingredients for skin care. Consequently, a number of these ingredients and compounds are today being developed and used for skin issues, including rosacea.

We use a variety of effective ingredients and botanicals in our all-natural, non-steroid treatment Rosacea Treatment. With rose hip seed oil, German chamomile and thuja occidentalis plus antioxidant properties, these ingredients have been revered through history for their ability to target skin issues.  Rosacea Control stimulates the autoimmune response to help ease discomfort and inflammation while creating a more even skin tone.
